Upgrade Update #6

We are aware of an issue of members not being able to post although they can access the board, it is due to the reindexing process crashing MYSQL. If you are experiencing problems bear with us and try again later.

Upgrade Update #5

Enormous thanks to our site sponsors for testing out the new software. Kudos to Gunther and acey for their tenacity and resourcefulness in making sure the plethora of problems we had with the upgrade, were defeated.

Even though we're not at 100% yet (still tables to be rebuilt, and some features to load), based on the Sponsor feedback we feel the site is ready to re-open. There's a BNL thread dedicated to the new software. So have at it.

Upgrade Update #4

Hallelujah! We're 90% of the way there. It's not all over yet, however it's time for a test group of users. As such we've just opened the board to COYSers in the 'sponsor' group. We'd like them to log in, explore the board and provide their feedback in the designated BNL thread. If all goes well, the board will then be fully re-opened.

Upgrade Update #2

We've been working all weekend on trying to get the upgrade to run to completion, but to no avail. The IPS techies will continue their investigations on Tuesday. The current plan is if they can't sort it out by Thursday we'll come back up on the old version of the board software. Thanks to Gunther for his efforts, and to all COYSers for their patience, during this difficult time. Prof.

Board software upgrade update

Wrestling with several major technical snags. One has been escalated to tier 2 support at Invision. Although it's possible these issues will be resolved relatively quickly, it's likely that we could be homeless for several more days. At least it's happening on an international break week. Thanks for your patience and support.
