Update Complete

Gunther needs to implement some system upgrades. They will take place on Friday from around 3pm and may involve an extended outage. The duration of the outage will depend on how smoothly the upgrade work goes. 

The cull for the January 2019 transfer window is under way. If your account has been closed but you are confident that you've averaged at least 1 post per week since the close of the summer window, send an email to admin@comeonyouspurs.com right away. Otherwise please send an  email to the same address, on or after Saturday February 2nd 2019, requesting that your account be re-activated and we'll take care of it within 72 hours. Please don't contact us to explain any extenuating circumstances for low PPD as we cannot investigate the validity of each claim. 

With the opening of the summer window, low activity accounts have been suspended. If you have lost access to your COYS account, you can send an email to admin@comeonyouspurs.com on or after August 11th requesting reactivation, and we'll take care of it for you.

The base software update us now complete. Thanks for your patience. 

Software upgrade

Starting tomorrow (April 27th), the tortured genius that is Gunther will be attempting to upgrade our board software to the next major release, v4.3.1. This is a fairly significant undertaking which will require some of the associated applications to also be upgraded. There is a chance of one or more outages.

A routine security update has had some unintended consequences, and as such posts  on COYS cannot be created or updated. The gnomes are investigating the cause. Thank you for your patience.

Server Migration - Initial Testing Complete

Initial testing complete --- the doors are open to all groups. Thanks to everyone who helped.

Server Migration - Update

This has gone far more smoothly and more quickly than expected ...... so far.
Gunther needs a test group of COYSers to give feedback on response times etc, so COYS has just re-opened to site sponsors. If their feedback is positive then all groups will be re-activated.

Server Migration

COYS will disappear around 1pm BST on Tuesday May 23rd for server migration and will probably be offline for several days. While the site is down, updates will appear here.

Site Access

The COYS server is up and running. if you can't access the forums the most probable explanations are an issue with your internet access, or (as per the emails sent to all COYSers over the last few months, and the pinned thread in the BNL) that your account has been suspended ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

Software upgrade
